Events

Since 2019, Asian Creative Foundation has hosted 50+ events, featuring 150+ speakers and welcoming 18,000+ attendees, bringing AAPI creatives together across disciplines.

We began with intimate, topic-driven meetups in photography, architecture, fashion, and more—creating a safe space to share stories, exchange ideas, and build community.

In 2022, we launched the Asian Creative Festival, an annual New York City event during AAPI Heritage Month celebrating AAPI culture through talks, creative markets, film screenings, performances, and collaborative art projects.

Today, our events continue to evolve—serving as a foundation for deeper collaboration and pathways from conversation to action.

Social Impact Hackathon

@Pratt Institute, New York

ACF hosted its first Social Impact Hackathon at Pratt Institute, bringing 60 AAPI creatives together with five NYC-based nonprofits to co-create community-driven solutions. The event focused on turning creative skills into real-world social impact.

Asian Creative Festival

'Be Colorful,' encourages us to listen to our inner voice, embrace our individuality, and challenge the model minority myth, highlighting the nuanced diversities within our histories and cultures.

This is the first in-person festival after the challenges faced during COVID, with over 4,000 people joining us to celebrate!
